			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Until recently, I had never heard of such a thing as &#8220;Tent Cities.&#8221;</p>
<p>But apparently, many &#8220;newly homeless&#8221; people are now living in tent cities in places like North Florida and Seattle, Washington.</p>
<p>These are not the kind of homeless people you may normally imagine.</p>
<p>These are folks who&#8217;ve been laid off from blue collar and white collar jobs&#8230; found themselves unable to pay for their homes&#8230; went into foreclosure&#8230; and became homeless.</p>
<p>These are people like you and me!</p>
<p>You might never know these folks were homeless, judging by how clean they look. Nevertheless, they ARE homeless. And they&#8217;re living in tent cities &#8212; large communities of people all living in pop-up camping tents.</p>
<h3>Weather the Recession in Comfort &amp; Style</h3>
<p>I don&#8217;t want you to suffer through this recession, and I certainly don&#8217;t want to see you wind up in a tent city.</p>
<p>But I do want you to weather the recession in comfort and style.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Would you believe it if I told you that you were sitting on a pot of gold?</p>
<p>Probably not. And I wouldn&#8217;t blame you. After all, it&#8217;s kind of ridiculous to suggest that wealth is within your grasp if only you would take hold of it.</p>
<p>But ridiculous as it is&#8230; it&#8217;s TRUE!!</p>
<p>Right now, you&#8217;ve got unbelievable wealth right at your fingertips. The only thing you need to do is put this &#8220;invisible wealth&#8221; to work so it becomes <em>real</em> wealth.</p>
<p>Of course, there are the somewhat obvious forms of wealth like health and time. Most people are healthy enough to do some kind of work. And most people have at least some time to invest in the opportunities they have.</p>
<p>But what about all the courses, training material, and ideas that are languishing on your bookshelves and on your computer hard drive? What about your relationships with key people?</p>
<p>I bet you&#8217;re sitting on at least $1,000 of untapped potential &#8212; and probably more like $10,000 or more.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s an exercise:</p>
<p>Write down all the resources you have available to you &#8212; learning materials and key strategic relationships &#8212; then next to those resources write down at least one thing you could do <em>this week</em> to turn that resource into money.</p>
<p>This is how entrepreneurs and business owners think. In fact, one of my favorite questions to ask myself and my staff is, &#8220;What is going to ring the cash register today?&#8221;</p>
<p>Answer that question&#8230; then take action immediately.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>If you ever hope to make a million dollars or more a year, you need to learn (and master) the concept of &#8220;highest and best use.&#8221; Let me explain&#8230;</p>
<p>You&#8217;ve got strengths and weaknesses. Some things you do make more money than others. Some things you do don&#8217;t make any money at all.</p>
<p>What you need to figure out is what activities produce the most money in your business. Then, focus only on those activities. This is the highest and best use of your time.</p>
<p>If there are activities you engage in on a regular basis that don&#8217;t produce income for you, then figure out a way to outsource those activities. Anything you do that doesn&#8217;t fall within the &#8220;highest and best use&#8221; of your time should be eliminated or outsourced.</p>
<p>For me, I&#8217;ve found that public speaking is one of the highest and best uses of my time. For you, it may be the same and it may be different. Only you can determine that.</p>
<p>Take a minute to answer this question: &#8220;What is the highest and best use of my time?&#8221; Write your answers down.</p>
<p>Then make a list of activities you perform that don&#8217;t fall within the first list you created. Start creating a plan for how you will stop doing those things, either by eliminating them from your business altogether or outsourcing them.</p>
<p>Do this, and you will almost certainly experience a sudden increase in income.</p>
